Penny Bevan (Director of Public Health), Genette Laws (Hackney Council Assistant Director Adult Social Care Commisioning), Dean Henderson(Borough Director East London Foundation Trust), David Maher (CCG ProgrammeDIrector for Mental Health).
Workshops will based on the findings of the research projects, which set out to voice the views of those seldom heard under two key themes; ‘Barriers to Healthcare’ and ‘Patient Centred Care’. The event will bring together members of public, the organisations carrying out the research as well as commissioners and decision makers from London Borough of Hackney (Public Health, Adult Social Care, Children’s Services and Older people’s Services), providers, CCG and Healthwatch to discuss the recommendations fromthe research reports. From 2:30 there will be a session to advertise the new “Healthier Hackney” grants launched by the Pubilc Health Deparments.
