Hackney home care agency requires improvement
A Hackney agency providing care for up to 75 vulnerable adults and children in their own homes ‘requires improvement’, inspectors have found.
Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors who inspected the agency in June said people were not always protected from risks to their health and wellbeing.
Risk asessments were inconsistent and staff were not always provided with enough detail on people's specific conditions, including diabetes or epilepsy, to manage them properly.
Inspectors said staff working for the agency were compassionate and caring and the service was effective.
The agency recieved a 'good' rating when it was previously inspected in July 2014.
