Hospital complaints office to close for refurbishment

Homerton Hospital’s patient advice and liaison service (PALS) is closing for refurbishment.

The office will close on 18 October and reopen on 20 November.

Situated next to the hospital entrance, the PALS office enables patients and relatives to lodge complaints and raise concerns about hospital services in person.

During the closure, patients, visitors, and relatives who want to speak to a PALS officer face-to-face can email PALS at huh-tr.PALS.Service@nhs.net or call 020 8510 7315 to arrange an appointment.

Margaret Howat, head of patient experience at the hospital, apologised for the disruption but said the team was looking forward to opening the new look PALS and information centre on 20 November.
