Places left and venue change for Co-production Conference, 6 July

There are still a number of places left for our People as Partners: Co-production Conference on Thursday 6 July, 12-5pm. Please note the venue has now changed to Redmond Community Centre to accomodate our numbers.

Join us to create co-production principles for Hackney and the City of London and make sure health and care services are designed in equal partnership with residents.

Participants will hear about examples of effective co-production, discuss how co-production can work in our area, and influence how services are designed and reshaped.

Location: Redmond Community Centre, Kayani Avenue, Woodberry Down, N4 2HF.

  • Registration and lunch will take place from 12-12.30pm
  • Keynote speakers include Pete Fleischmann (Head of Co-production at the Social Care Institute for Excellence), Elspeth Williams (local resident and advocate for the visually impaired), Simon Galczynski (Director of Adult Services, Hackney Council)

  • Local residents sharing their experiences of co-production.

  • Case studies of co-production from Hackney, the City and beyond.

Co-production is when people who use services work together in equal partnership with organisations to design better services. The City and Hackney Health and Social Care Transformation Board has committed to co-production. This is our opportunity to work with them to reshape local services so they are designed around residents and achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes for all.
